Dear Editor,

Small class teaching refers to a smaller number of students in a class which are around 15 to 25. The goal why small class teaching is set up is to improve the teacher-student ratio in order to achieve a high quality education. Therefore, my school agrees with the plan of small class teaching because of the following reasons.

First, through the small class teaching, it is good for teachers to deal with the learning diversity among students. Moreover, teachers can provide more opportunities and methods for each student in order to help develop their potential.

Second, in the consideration of teaching time, due to the reduction of teachers’ workload, they have more time to analyze the students’ personality and give them appropriate guidance.

Moreover, after the implementation of small class teaching, teachers can have more interaction with students and pay more attention to the development of each student. For the society, small class teaching, which is an innovative method, can help nurture all aspects of talents for the society. This can help the society to create valuable human resources for different industries and the development of the future of Hong Kong.

In conclusion, it is observed that small class teaching brings many benefits to students and the society. This is why our school agrees with the small class teaching.
