I certainly believe that fast food is quite bad for health. In a survey, 75% of teenagers said that they ate at fast food restaurants at least twice a week. Undoubtedly, it is not healthy and will get many negative impacts. In this following, I would like to share with you my views on the disadvantages of having fast food.
First of all, having fast food would cause several physical health problems. It lacks nutrition and provides too much fat and carbohydrate. It contains too much meat, sugar, which can make us fat. Being fat can also cause other problems. For example, you may suffer from heart disease, high blood pressure and so on. It is unwise to forget that all of these diseases can lead to early death. Therefore, it is not sensible for us to eat fast food frequently as fast food absolutely affects our health seriously.
Besides, having too much fast food would affect teens’ appearance. If teens eat too much fast food which contains much oil and sugar, for example, fried chicken wings, and drink too little water, it will certainly make them have pimples. We all know that pimples are not attractive and therefore we will lose confidence. Thus, people must not consume too much fast food.
Moreover, fast food would cause mental problems. It seriously distracts teenagers’ concentration and makes them easily feel grumpy. For instance, without any disturbance, they also find it difficult to focus on their work. They will be suddenly in a bad mood for no reasons. Consequently, it is necessary for them to have a healthy diet if they really want to improve their memory and emotion.
In conclusion, it is obvious that fast food has a number of disadvantages. Remember, the more fast food you eat, the unhealthier you will be. It is high time we established a healthy diet in order to get rid of the problems.
